siraj saxena trained as painter from Indore school of arts M.P. India then started ceramic art at bharat bhavan Bhopal as a freelance artist, in 1997 he went to Japan to attained international ceramic art workshop in tokoname ( a ceramic city),he learnt ceramic techniques from late Ida Soichi (a famous artist from japan) at his studio in Kyoto.
in his paintings one can feel the song of Earth he paints the portrait of the Land he also creates land the earth in his own pictorial way he has dots lines shades of green,orange yellow etche , he is a poet and creates poetry through his visual language and vocabulary .he also writes mostly what he sees around him,once famouse hindi poet Mr ashok vajpeyi wrote about his works "t art is beyond the words it is without words since it is on the verge of articulations .it is colourfil silence, it is almost waiting breathlessly for the original sounds to recur ."
at present siraj has been practicing his art in different mediums like textile,graphics,wood ETC.he has done 25 solo exhibitions in India and abroad (London,Spain,Taiwan,Lithuania,Serbia,Nepal etc) and participated in more then 150 group exhibitions .his art installations can be seen at National Gandhi Museum New Delhi,ceramic art Museum Yingge Taiwan,international ceramic art center Boleslawiec Poland,Tuk Tuk microbrewery franchook south Africa, center of polish sculpture ornesko Poland,he has participated in international art symposiums in china,japan,sri lanka ,Indonesia,Serbia,Lithuania,Poland,Germany,Latvia,China,Nepal.
